THE INSIDE STORY

The jacket is fully interfaced with bias-cut hair canvas for support. Pad stitching is used on the lapel and undercollar to give them shape. Twill tape is stitched to the lapel line for a perfect roll. The sleeve cap is interfaced with hair canvas (straight grain), and has both lambswool sleeve head and shoulder pad.

THE LINING

Made from luxurious silk charmeuse, it will last for many years.

At all the edges, including the shoulder seam and sleeve cap, the lining is stitched to the jacket by hand. There is no back neck facing—the lining extends to the collar.
